Tobie reached out to me as an oncologist a few years ago regarding his diagnosis and management, although in Sacramento about 2 hours away, specifically because I was a LAHS classmate '62 (but had changed schools 2 years prior in '60). It greaves me to learn of his passing, I can speak to his personal courage and loyalty to friends of the past as among the highest in my half century in medicine.
Happiest of B'Days, Steve! With Valentines for your family, gung hay fat choy for yesterday, and Presidents Day tomorrow, this is an epic time!
