Update: Linda and I are going to be grandparents in the Sep/Oct time frame, depending Annie and the doctor! Our daughter, Annie, is pregnant with twin boys. So she and Jason are going from zero to two that quick. So far her pregnancy has gone pretty smooth with no complications. Keep them in your prayers.

I really had 2 jobs in the last 40+ years. I served in the US Army for 21 years and over 18 years with McDonnell-Douglas/Boeing. For the past 5 years I have doing a little consulting work on the side. My Army career took me me overseas and around the US. I had the opportunity to work on two major helicopter programs starting on them from the beginning to production. There was an assignment as an associate professor at the US Military Academy at West Point. The capstone assignment was on the Army staff in Washington DC.
My time in industry has been involved in advanced systems development for the 18+ years.

In February we went on a Panama Canal cruise, the full transit: San Diego to Ft. Lauderdale, with friends from Chicago. There were stops in Mexico, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Costa Rico and Columbia. I posted several photos of the canal transit. The canal has been in operation for 100+ year! a phenomenal piece of engineering given the bumpy start.

I have continued to travel after Linda's passing. I have led a couple of tours to Germany of the Reformation cities which were behind the Iron Current until 1992. in 2019 I took a combination/land/cruise tour from Prague to Paris. I truly enjoyed Prague and want to return including a side trip to Theresienstadt where my Aunt Frieda was prisoner but did survive.

Besides travel I have been active in the Military Officers Assn of America. In 2019 I along with Tom Robillard (COL, USAF Ret) established the States Legislative Exchange Forum where we focus people issues (military personnel (active duty, retired, veterans), spouses, dependents and surviving spouses) at the individual state-level. in January 2022 I was elected to be the President of the Missouri Council of Chapters and will be leading the Advocacy in Action for the FY2023 talking with members of the Missouri Congressional Delegation, again focused on people issues.
