"Ken indeed was a gentle giant". I came out to California from the east coast in 1963 to attend college. I met Ken in my Poli-Sci class and he introduced himself. Not knowing a single soul he and I quickly became friends. He showed me around, found an apartment for me, and introduced me to his friends. For the next two years we were best of friends and did a lot of things together. With the war in Viet Nam calling we both ended up going into the service. Me a Naval Air Squadron and Ken the Air Force. We tried to stay in touch but the war changed things. Over the years I've always thought of him but was unable to get in touch. The last few years I've been searching the internet hoping to find him. Sadly it was this posting in the yearbook. You were such an important person in my life, many travel adventures with many fond memories. Thanks for being such a kind and caring person, always there when you needed someone. You deserve this recognition, may you rest in peace. You'll be sorely missed. Richard La Rue
Ken was such a nice person and always so easy to talk to. He also had the greatest smile. I'm so sad to see he is gone but I'm also so proud of Him for serving our Country. Rest in Peace and thank you Ken (dear friend), I'm sure you are missed by so many. Luv, Judi

Didn't know you well, but I sure miss our class Gentle Giant. Always a nexus of laughter in the halls and a formidible presence in water polo goal.
Too good a person to be forgotten.
