John and I were very close friends throughout high school. We played on the same team in Colt League baseball for two years. I will also never forget the road trip he and I, and Don Richter took to the Seattle Worlds Fair. I was John's Best Man when he was married to his first wife after he graduated from Linfield College in McMinnville, Oregon. John came to at least two if not three of our High School Reunions and stayed with Karen and I each time. We did'nt communicate much in the past few years; and I am sorry for that.

John, may you rest in peace...

I, too, was saddened to hear of John's passing.  Like Dave Jessen, I was also a teammate of John's in Colt League Baseball.  He was a great shortstop!  Lost track of John when my athletic interests moved on to  swimming.  Our paths never crossed again, but I remember John as a quiet, but fun-loving guy.  My condolences to his family and friends!

So sorry to hear this news.  John was such a nice guy and a good friend in my high school days.  Senior year he would loan me his car occasionally so some of us could escape 5th & 6th periods and work on our tans around Kirsten’s pool.  I have great memories of his gentle personality and quick wit. Peace and love.
