Jack was a great all around guy. Lotsa good memories of all the good times we had together at LAHS.

He surely will be missed by everyone who knew him. RIP my friend.

Jack was a close friend and low handicap golfer (he was on the 5-player Knights team that won the SCVAL school championship in 1962). His dad gave us both a ride every morning to Almond Avenue classes. He became a new car salesman and enjoyed the plentiful fruits of the Valley.  In his later years he was able to accomplish the very difficult feat of carding his age on the links many times, every match something akin to a 4 minute mile in track. I saw him from time-to-time on visits back to the LAHS ranch, but he preferred to stay in the background. He was not an academic guy, perhaps due to being in the shadow of a medical-entrepreneur-brother, he was a dutiful member of the Silent Generation. All this to say that he contributed unselfishly to other peoples' happiness, as was his sales duty.  Eventually, the next generation (Jack leaves one son) takes the reigns. RIP cher classmate.

Jack was a wonderful guy.  This is apprios of nothing, but I remember clearly a hilarious story he told about how his Dad lost his virginity in the front seat of a car in the 40s.  It was probably a Buick, which would be appropriate.  RIP, pal.
