After receiving a call from Tanya Dodds, Mike's daughter, Chuck Bowen sent the following email message on 9/1/2019:
" with heart devastated in abject sorrow I tell you that our brother Mike Dodds has departed for the great unknown years back it was rumored that Mike met his demise I, ninny-like, alarmed many in his family asking that very question Mike and I had many yuks over that one I wish to hell that now this too would be greatly exaggerated cl bowen "

A memorial service to be held in Los Altos is being planned for spring.

So sad to get this news, Mike spent many days with us while visiting his daughter. He always liked having the privacy of our “travel trailer” while he was here. However, his visits meant many laughs over food and much reminiscing of days gone by and new life’s experiences too! He was always such a gracious guest. Will indeed miss him!!
