Dear David, I remember when your dad and his family came to Los Altos and was at your grandparents house many times... I was in Rainer's wedding and also knew Ingrid... I still have the book, The Dirks Escape somewhere in this house I've lived in for 70 years... Your dad was very quiet as I remember and I knew your mom, Carolyn, too. My heart goes out to you with deep sympathy. What a great family you have had. And I will be praying that the Lord will comfort you in the loss of your parents...
