Lynne died peacefully in her home on September 28, 2014, after many years of poor health due to heart disease.  She was 70 years old at the time of her death.  She is survived by her son Geoff Lewis, who lives in Portland, Oregon.  She was divorced from her husband at the time of her death.

Lynne was very creative with her writing and her art work.  She had a great talent for portrait painting.
