Directions:  [see map]
From Interstate 280:  Take the Alpine Rd. exit and drive west towards Portola Valley for about 1.8 miles.  The Alpine Inn will be on your left at the intersection with Arastradero.  The entrance is on Arastradero.

What:
The original Return to Camelot reunion Dude Angius hosted in 2016 was a party for all the students and faculty he came to know at LAHS during his tenure there - from the opening of the school in 1955 to his leaving with the class of 1975.  We continue the tradition this year with a casual no-host gathering of the classes of '58 through '75 and retired faculty, plus spouses, partners, and guests.

Come for lunch!  Indoor and outdoor seating.  Linger to meet old friends and make new ones.

Important Notes:
The Alpine Inn was sold in February and immediately closed for major renovations.  (See links below.) It didn't resume lunch service until early September, so many long-time patrons have been eagerly waiting to return and check out the new facilities and menu.  It's been very busy!  The new management feels an obligation to accommodate its local patrons and the community, so is not accepting reservations until at least next year.  Until then, it has posted new House Rules prominently in the Tavern and on the fenced walls of the Beer Garden.  These are the ones that especially pertain to our group:

We Are A Casual No Reservations Beer Garden.
Please Order Food & Beverages Before Sitting.  No Saving Tables.
Our Tables Are Communal, So Share and Make New Friends.
No Food or Beverage From Outside The Establishment Is Allowed.

We can make this work if we arrive early (arriving as close to 11:30 as possible and with other classmates will help), place our orders, and settle together in the same general area.  Wear name tags from previous reunions if you saved them, or use the stick-on kind that will be available.  Include our class year on the name tags.

The new management has multiple people taking orders, and they send texts to us when our orders are ready. - so we can find our tables outside as soon as we've ordered.
