Abby was one of the kindest sweetest persons I ever knew. She was my "Maid of Honor" at my wedding in 1964 and has been in my thoughts my entire life. My family all loved her as a dear friend. Her parents were also friends of my parents. If photos keep a person alive, Abby will be alive for a long time.
Abby was a very dear, sweet friend. I remember her eyes were actually a shade of yellow, and I've never seen eyes that color again. Abby lived much of her younger life in Burma where her father was a geologist. Abby was very bright and a gifted artist. One time she has a bunch of us at her house (to play bridge?) and her mother served us pecan pie. I'd never heard of a pie made of nuts, and have liked it ever since. I think of her often. My 96 year old grandfather said that the good die young, and that certainly was the case with Abby.
